FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. When will my order ship?

Once we receive your order, we add it to the production day until 16:00, or our next production day. Your order will be dispatch within 1-2 business days after you placed your order. Your satisfaction is very important to us and we do our best to send your order out as quickly as possible! 

2. What is the shelf life of my coffee or cacao?

Coffee will not ''expire''  in good conditions, but it can loose flavour over time. We recommend a consumption within 8 weeks of roasting for optimal flavours. But rest assure your coffee will still be tasty after that. Make sure. To preserve your beans' fresh roasted flavor as long as possible, store them in an opaque, air-tight container at room temperature. Coffee beans can be beautiful, but avoid clear canisters which will allow light to compromise the taste of your coffee. Keep your beans in a dark and cool location.

 

3. How do you source your coffees?

We work with "campesinos unidos" in Chiapas, Mexico, we are the importers, so we make sure of the quality and the beans we bring to Canada. For us, is really important to work with this communities, sience our coffee and cacao will be always fairtrade, that´s the importance of being directly related with them, and of course guarentee the quality of our products and your satisfaction.

4.  Do you offer  ground and wholebean coffee?

Yes we do! No grinder? no Whole bean? No problem! Simply select your preferred bean type, on each product. We want to make coffee accessible to everyone. Coffee will be sent as whole beans by default if you do not select a grind size.

5. Do you sell wholesale coffee?

Yes we do! but unfortunately this service is being operated only for OTTAWA, for local delivery, if you want to make your purchase in other city let us know or contact us: sales@summersunfoods.com
